Styling Tips: the Foyer

Styling your foyer or entryway is a fine art between removing too much clutter and using just enough to make it interesting. It’s the place all stylists or designers usually start when decorating their home, the foyer. It’s an opportunity to add some really great pieces and set the mood for the entire home.

  1. Styling Tip One: Less is More. Maybe choose one lamp instead of two. Add a minimalist mirror, keep open spaces on the console table. Again and again I see designers choose less in this first room of a home.

2. Styling Tip Two: Design in Twos. Two beautiful artisan vases or wooden objects that are similar but different is a pattern we see in so many beautifully designed foyers. Greenery in one vase and the other empty on a simple wooden pedestal table is a classic styling go-to.

3. Styling Tip Three. Combine Gorgeous Greenery with Rustic Wooden Furniture. This styling duo is a winning combination everytime. Thing BIG greenery and dark wooden tones for your console table.
