Best Rugs Under $500
Beautiful home decor and furnishings are expensive. We all know that to be true. But…I’ve found that although the exact quality may be lacking, you can generally create the same look and feel with much more budget-friendly options. Also, it makes 1000% more sense to me when you have young kids, and dogs mind you, to not buy the $4500 rug and opt for the $350 one. One of my favorite designers is Amber Interiors. She always uses beautiful very large area rugs with deep greens, blacks, rust, and blues.
Don’t be afraid to be a budget-friendly designer. I went years without a put-together home because I couldn’t afford the one piece that made sense to bring the design together. When I started to allow myself to go for the cheaper knock off version, my home came together. And although it wasn’t magazine worthy, it was still so very beautiful.
